The Founding Headmaster of the English International School Moscow will be Mr Ross Hunter.

Mr Hunter holds an MA from Cambridge University. He is an experienced teacher and Head, having worked in England, Switzerland and elsewhere in the world. His present post is that of Headmaster of Catteral Hall, Giggleswick, one of England’s most successful independent boarding schools.

After graduating in Geography from St Catharine’s College, Cambridge, he has taught Geography, Economics and Maths at secondary and preparatory levels. Ross enjoys sport, and is a keen traveller, with over forty stamps in his passport. He is joined and supported by his wife Sue, herself a teacher, who will be part of EISM. The Hunters have two children, one at University in England and the other expected to follow this year.

Mr Hunter will take up the post full-time from mid August but will participate in the planning and curriculum development work for the new school during the next few months.

The school expects to appoint an Interim Headmaster for the period until Mr Ross takes up his duties
