English International School, Moscow East provides an environment which enables staff and pupils/students to develop trusting and supportive relationships.
We pride ourselves on being able to work closely with English International School, Moscow East parents so we can together support pupils/students with their academic and personal needs.
The House system
is specifically designed and applied to develop positive and responsible behaviour, plus it is used to acknowledge initiative and leadership which is intended to develop pupil/student self-esteem.
All pupils and students receive counselling and guidance throughout their time at English international School, Moscow East as part of the daily programme.
In the Early Years Foundation Stage and Primary Department
the class teachers are mainly responsible for ensuring the pupils receive all the support they need through the class teacher – pupil relationship.
In the Secondary Department
we have the Form Tutor arrangement. This provides an opportunity for students in Year 7 – 13 to relate to a member of staff, whenever they may need specific guidance and support, both academic or personal.
Pupil and student needs are addressed sensitively and effectively.
Personal, Social and Health Education lessons, also called World Studies, provide an opportunity for pupils and students to use a forum to explore emotions, growing up and the world around them.
